Theory of multi-frequency mode-locked lasers

Abstract

A theoretical model based upon the master mode-locking equation is constructed to describe multi-frequency, pulsed mode-locking. The model results in mode-locking dynamics qualitatively observed in experimental multi-frequency laser operation.
