Abstract

We aim to perform sentiment analysis to explore twitter data referring to tweets relating to donations, fundraising or charities. This paper covers techniques and approaches to capture polarity of sentiments of people towards donating for any cause under exploratory data analysis. By using Natural Language Processing Toolkit (NLTK) we determine whether a tweet is of neutral, positive or negative polarity. Tweets relative of donations is the data we use as training data and use it to gather prospective clients as a future goal.
